Review: Bioré Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover

Thanks to Samplestore, I got to try another Biore's new product. It's the Bioré Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover which is able to remove eye makeup too.

Notice that there is a cap near the opening? I find it very useful as it prevents the kids in the house from pumping my favourite product for fun.

This is the first time I am trying a jelly-textured makeup remover. At first sight, it looks greasy to me but actually it is just a smooth consistency.

It is said to be able to effortlessly dissolve and lift off makeup in a gentle glide. So let me put it to the test.

I had applied CC cream, concealer, blusher, eyeshadow on my inner eye corners, eyeliner and eyelid tape and filled in my brows with eyebrow pencil.

2-3 pumps of the Bioré Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover onto my palm first. It is recommended to pump onto dry palms and make sure face is dry.

I spread the product evenly over my face and eye area and massage gently to dissolve the makeup. Please don't use facial cotton pads or tissue, your hands are sufficient.

My naked face with hyperpigmentation is appearing. Even my trusty eyeliner can be dissolved and ended up on my lower eye area where the dark eye circles were supposed to be. The most fantastic thing is that it doesn't sting my eyes at all.

I rinsed my face thoroughly with water and that's it. Don't even need to use cotton pads or tissue to go through my face and eyes again.

I don't feel any stickiness, greasiness or tightness after rinse.

I will definitely recommend Bioré Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover as it really works. If you are a lazy woman like me, you will find this product of great help in saving your time and effort when comes to removing makeup at the end of the day.

The Bioré Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover is selling at $24.90 at all leading supermarkets, personal care stores, western pharmacies and departments stores,

Review: Chanel CC Cream

Recently, I went to the Chanel cosmetics counter at Takashimaya and bought some skincare and cosmetics to try. I was also given some samples to try.

I am going to share my experience on using the Chanel CC Cream.

The shade that I tried was 12 Beige Rose which I felt it is a little fair for me. Anyway, you can see the before and after.

The texture of it is thin enough for blending with fingers. Although my face doesn't feel that sticky after application, I did apply Make Up Store loose powder after which.

My skin tone has definitely brighten and more even. Coverage wise is medium as my freckles can still be seen so I still had to use my Laura Mercier concealer,

SPF30++/PA+++ is sufficient for my typical day in the office.

After half a day, my T-zone didn't 'shine' as much as when I used my regular BB cream. The product didn't oxidize to make me look darker,

I would consider buying it as a regular item if I have a little more to spend on.
