HM's Advance Birthday Celebration

26 June 2013

Again, I put on makeup and I used Make Up Store's eyeshadow, namely Cotton Candy (pink) and Backstage (red). I used Pink Dream eye pencil at the inner corners of my eyes to make them pop.

Had advance birthday celebration for HM at Tomyum Kungfu. We had a hard time trying to coordinate surprises for her and even get her bf involved. And this time, Jac joined us.

Jac and I surprised HM at her workplace and headed to the restaurant together. It's located at 16 Circular Road. Here's what we ordered. I missed out photo of the prawn paste chicken. It was about $130 for 8 pax.

Seafood and meat for the steamboat

Vegetables and tang hoon

Pineapple Fried Rice

Tom Yum Seafood Soup

HM's bf appeared in the midst with a birthday cake and of course, he joined us for dinner.

Went to TCC, took group photos before Jac left.

YJ passed us the gifts she got from UK. A magnet, face towel and a show bag. That actually cost her quite a bit that she spent, having to multiply by 5.

The rest of us chilled at TCC till 11pm.

WF's Birthday Celebration

24 June 2013

Celebrated WF's birthday in advance at Standing Sushi Bar. The queue was long and thank goodness the girls were early enough to get a table.

The food was not bad, considered generous when comes to portion. You can tell from the thickness of the salmon sashimi. We paid merely $3 for a plate of 5 slices.

Here's what else we ordered. The chawamushi wasn't that fantastic compared to Ichiban. We paid $165 for 6 pax.

Smoked Duck

All Sashimi Roll

The garlic fried rice was tasty but too oily. We had 2 plates of it.

Garlic Fried Rice

Fried Chicken with Thousand Island

I think it's grilled salmon with cheese

Left the restaurant at 9pm for Switch. WF blew candles on a box of mini donuts bought from J. Co.

Had beer and margarita pizza while chatting and listening to the live band.

Home at midnight.

Birthday Celebrations for the June Babies (Part 1)

It's Monday but I am not suffering from the blues. In fact, I am motivated to put on eye makeup using eyeshadow from Make Up Store. Namely knaki gold and jubilee. The big picture of my eye don't do justice to the eyeshadows.

Will be celebrating WF's Birthday in advance at Standing Sushi Bar. I can't wait to put sashimi in my mouth.

21 June 2013

Went shopping at Make Up Store Paragon while waiting for the rest. In order to renew my 2-year membership with them, I had to spend $100 in June. And so, here's what I got.

The gentle scrub sponge which I can use everyday. Save on buying a scrub as this is good enough. Once it hardens, it is no longer usable. Cost $15.

The Angel eyedust at $29 which is gorgeously glittering. Good for a night of glam and the glitter is like rainbow.

And also liquid foundation (Tone: Vanilla) of medium coverage. I can only use liquid foundation as my skin is rather dry. If I were to use powder only, there would be peeling and definitely show all my facial lines.

Bought the pinkish eyeshadow at $27 which I can't recall its name.

Celebrated SF's birthday at Antoinette Mandarin Gallery. We ordered main courses and dessert to share.

Antoinette's Breakfast at $22

Club Antoinette

Gnocchi Carbonara

Concorde

Nougatine

Birthday Girl and her Antoinette Cake

Cost us about $130 with a pretty good meal.

Chilled at TCC International Building for night of catch up.

Monster University

17 June 2013

Had dinner at Popeyes. Gobbled food down as we were rushing.

A big thank you to Ranga for the preview ticket to "Monster University". Everyone should watch it. It's a good laugh and worth it to watch it again. We get to keep the 3D glasses as well.

Spot the gigantic Minion outside The Cathay.

Chilled at Starbucks till 11pm.

An Expensive Weekend

16 June 2013

Attended a wedding dinner at Mandarin Oriental. Here's what I had. I think my cholesterol level just shot right up.

Home at 11:30pm. Mad tired.

15 June 2013

Met Dare Association for ice-cream at Holland V Haagen-Dazs. Ordered ice-cream with waffle. That's my dinner.

Went supper at Swee Choon again. That's just the few dim sum we had.

Walked to Mustafa Centre for shopping again. This time I bought the Maybelline Gel Liner at $12.90 (really cheap!) and a box of Lipton Forest Fruit Tea at $4.30.

Had a drink at the nearby food centre and left for home at 4:30am.

Monsters University

"Monsters University" will be in theaters on 20 June 2013 and I can't wait!!

If you did watch "Monsters, Inc." in 2001, I am pretty sure you will catch this sequel too.

I can expect the movie with lots of humour, touching friendships, cuteness overload and it's a good film for the whole family. I need a good laugh to forget my troubles temporarily.

I have watched the trailer so you should too!

Catch Disney•Pixar’s “Monsters University”in Singapore cinemas this 20 June 2013! For more updates, like the Official Walt Disney Studios Singapore Facebook Page, follow @disneystudiosSG and subscribe to the Official Disney Studios Singapore YouTube Channel!

Rebonding at Home-Based Salon

31 May 2013

Took leave to go for hair rebonding at a home-based salon.

I merely paid $50 for rebonding and hair treatment. The price depends on hair length of course. Where to find such a price in those salons right? It took me about 2 hours to achieve this.

If you are interested, do contact Ivy at 90091693. She's located at 44 Sims Drive and only available on weekdays.

Will be working at Taka tomorrow . I will be promoting the Tefal Actifry and got to cook. I am curious to know how tomorrow will be.
