It was a boring Valentine's Day for me. How about you?

Nothing much to do at work so I was K-ing in the office, of course at a softer volume.

Had dinner at home then met Jac at Clementi Mall. As expected, the mall is crowded so I really hate people 'gathering' in the middle of nowhere. These 3 young teenage girls stood right between 2 escalators so Jac and I said 'Excuse me' in a slightly louder volume since it's noisy. They replied, "That is so rude". I regret not telling them, "And your were so inconsiderate".

Slacked at Mos Burger CIty Vibe. It's usually this fastfood restaurant where we chatted.

Home at 9pm.

Friday Night Out

Met WX and HC for dinner at ION Orchard.

Had "The Best Fish and Chips" and completed the meal with Cream of Mushroom and Ice Tea. The soup wasn't fantastic, not the best I had. There goes $22.

Did light shopping at Daiso. Spent $2 on the hair accessory.

Walked aimlessly along Orchard Road.

Went to the roof garden of Ochard Central. Not much of a beautiful night scene but there were plenty of stars yesterday.

Bought a pair of open-toed flats from Vana. Window-shopped till about 10:15pm.

Had not much things to do at work that I spent almost the entire afternoon playing Solitaire.

Had home-cooked century egg porridge for dinner and to NTUC for grocery shopping. Bought avocado and yogurt. Time to start my weight loss programme.

O&G appointment tomorrow morning and scalp treatment at Trichore-Kare in the evening.

New Hairstyle

Went for photoshoot early in the morning at M Studio Hotel.

Walked to Chinatown for $3 chicken rice and bought $3 almond paste home from Mei Heong Yuen Dessert.

Went for $10 haircut at EC House. Waited 30mins for a 10min haircut.

Home for dinner.

Annoyed

Was suffering from palpitations in the late morning, almost thought I had to cancel the photoshoot in the afternoon.

Back home to leave my stuff and off to KZ's house. Took me almost 30mins to wait for one bus. Annoyed.

Our dear Ranga made brownies for KZ and family which explained why he was late. Had dinner at KZ's place.

Home at 8:30pm.

Another photoshoot tomorrow morning. Got to turn in soon.

New Glasses

It was quite bored in office today. Alone and not much work.

Went to collect my new glasses at Straits Optical. Lens are from Crizal which don't smudge fingerprints and water, comes with one year warranty.

Had supper with CJZ at Mac. Just realised that the prices of the value meals have dropped significantly.

Mr. Bean have came up with a new plushie named "Beary in Love". Don't intend to get it since it's just an additional grey bear from the one I own.

Scalp Treatment

Dreamt of someone last night. I would say it's a sweet dream but after all, it's a dream.

Will be on myself at work from tomrrow as today is the auntie's last day.

Went for scalp treatment at Trichore-Kare after dinner at home. Yes, I have been spending money on my scalp more than on anything else. Better pray hard it's worthwhile.

Will be going gym tomorrow after work.

Not such a hectic day at work which I should learn to appreciate. Work has been well although it can be crazy sometimes. The best of all is that I get paid fortnightly. Like what I always think, as long as I work, I will get paid in money. In a relationship, I may have given my heart but I won't be paid wholeheartedly.

Went for facial after work and now I should try to sleep after watching an episode of "我的如意狼君".

While someone is away for days, I should give this complicated (and possibly worthless)relationship a good thought before I realised I am the dumbiest female standing on Earth. 天下何处无芳草

Played Blackjack at SF's place. Lost a few dollars again.

Went to ex-colleague's daughter's full month celebration.

Off to uncle's house to play Kinect. Had a great workout playing Dance Central for almost 3 hours. Played MotionSports too. It wasn't so easy to horseback riding and hand gliding.

Had dinner with uncle's family then to KZ's house to chit-chat till 11:30pm.

Went for hair treatment at Trichore-Kare then to gym. Too good a workout that I am suffering from muscle ache at my thighs and arms.

Collected 2 bottles of Opti-fresh at Novartis office and back home for dinner.

Probably too early a dinner, CJZ and I got hungry and went for dinner again at Mac. Only had Oreo Mcflurry and french fries.

Back home to watch 缺宅男女.

Had breakfast at Mac with mum. Yes, it's Mac again.

Helped mum to prepare lunch since I have time to waste.

Spent money again. This time on a new pair of glasses. All my angbao money gone.

Pool with CJZ for an hour and had chicken rice and papaya milkshake.

Got to stay home for the rest of today before I complain tomorrow is a working day.

Had light dinner at his place then off to Chevrons Aviary KTV at 8pm with KZ and LL.

Sang till 10pm and stayed in Kidz Room till 11pm to gossip.

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR TO ALL!

Had steamboat for lunch and dinner with immediate family yesterday.

Stayed home the entire day watching "Thor" and "In Time".

Slept at about 1am.

Woke up at 10:30am, spent 2 hours preparing.

Decided to wear the Mandarin Collar Work Dress in Dusty Pink from The Stage Walk. The design of the belt suites the CNY theme and all I need to do is to use another belt to match the dress for everyday office wear. The dress's classy is just my style.

Set off for Redhill at 1pm. Had desserts and played with paternal cousins till 4pm.

Went to Grandma's house for gathering with maternal family.

Played Blackjack and won about $11. Steamboat for dinner again.

Home at 8:30pm. I am already yawning at 10pm.

Went to collect my passport at ICA in the morning. They are on time if you booked the apoointment online.

Met CJZ for pool at WCRC. He has indeed improved a lot. Very cheap for students at about $6/hour.

Window shopping at Clementi Mall and back home.

Watched "Captain America" while having dinner. Looking forward to "The Avengers".

Down to Clementi Mall again. Bought a $28 dress from Kate Love. Received compliments from a young girl.

Went for scalp treatment at Tricho-Kare after work. I always look forward to the cooling shampoo and the head massage. Brought home a bottle of purifying shampoo and a scalp spray.

Went gym after work. It has been at least 2 weeks since I last had a workout. Got to go for another day this week before more weight gain.

Bought stamps at Singpost and realised the dragon-printed stamps looked more like a snake than dragon.

Finally back home for a cup of milo and crackers.

ICA is really efficient in renewing passports. Within 3 days after online renewal through APPLES, my passport is ready for collection. Shall collect it on Saturday morning.

Last Day in BKK

Last Day in BKK

Woke up at 8am as usual for an hour of buffet breakfast. The waffle was excellent and I just had to take 2.

Thinking that some of the shops would be open, we headed out. To our disappointment, we were too early.

Back to hotel room to slack till 10:45am to check out.

Took the hotel's shuttle bus to hotel. Had a seriously good sleep, thanks to the bumpy ride.

Queued for a long time to check in and get out passports stamped.

Time for shopping in airport again. Bought a THB190 Nantita bag for mum.

Had a good meal in the plane. Rice with plenty of prawns, white wine and a good dessert.

Took a nap while listening to my choice of music. It was a good nap especially after food.

Arrived in SG at 5:15pm and shopping time.

Almost bought a $280 Gucci leather purse but resisted.

Home sweet home at 7pm.

BKK Day 2

Woke up at 8am, wash up and had buffet breakfast. A selection of western, chinese and japanese like dim sum, pastries and sushi.

Took a cab to Pratunum market. Bought nothing except for a bottle of iced water.

Walked over to Platinum Fashion Mall. Lots of apparel and bags. Looking left and right made me suffered from slight headache.

Walked to Central World at 2pm. Spotted an Elephant Buddha in front of the mall.

KZ bought more Naraya stuff while Ranga bought a Jim Thompson pouch. As for me, I went to check out the Coach outlet but decided to get from Siam Paragon eventually.

It was about 3pm then. Bought street food for lunch to enjoy in hotel.

THB27 Fried Rice

Rested for an hour and time for free and easy. KZ and Ranga went MBK Shopping Centre while I went Siam Paragon to get the Coach pouch. Wrong price tag again, it cost THB5,900 instead of THB4,900. I was wondering why there's a price difference between the brown and black.

Time to hit the street market which was my favourite shopping area in BKK. Bought a THM450 pink bodycon dress, a RM240 grey tank dress and a THB200 blue cardigan

Back in hotel room at 6pm. Decided to soak myself in the hot tub, on the MTV channel and facebook-ing. Super relaxing and the hotel stay was all worth it.

Rested for a while after all of us were back.

Had dinner at a Thai restaurant. Green curry with chicken and rice. Lots of peas and chicken pieces as you can see.

Took a walk at the street market again and back in hotel room.

Lights off at 11pm.

BKK Day 1

BKK Day 1

Met KZ and Ranga in cab to Changi Airport. Had to check-in by 6:15am.

Had breakfast at Starbucks and finally time to board the flight.

Seats in Thai Airways were more comfortable than in Airasia. Breakfast in flight was not bad.

Arrived at Bangkok with excitement. Took the Novotel's shuttle bus and had a nap.

After hotel check-in, placed our luggage in the room. Concluded that we had a pretty good pool view but the construction in front did spoil a little.

We had street food for lunch down at an alley. Doesn't it look like school canteen because of the benches? Had tom yam soup which cost THB500. Very flavourful.

Went to Siam Centre, unfortunately there wasn't much shopping to do.

Next was Siam Paragon. That's where there were luxury shops like Chanel, Coach and Kate Spade. Spotted a limited edition Coach pouch which was THB4,900. Decided not to consider buying the next day. Noticed that the male security guard at the mall puts on pink lipstick.

Walked to Siam Discovery where KZ's favourite shop Naraya was. I bought 6 wristlets for souvenirs.

Just across the road was MBK Shopping Centre. You can do price negotiation. Bought a few pieces of baby wear for my colleague's daughter and a pair of replica Havaianas.

Back to hotel room to put down our shopping bags and went for massage at the alley. The THB300 Thai massage I got made me stayed awake throughout due to the pain.

Did some light shopping along the night street while waiting for KZ and Ranga. Very impressed with myself for the 2 dresses which cost me THB99 each.

Back to hotel room for shower and out for dinner. Bought a stick of 2 sausage-like balls which contains tung hoon and had THB40 beef bee hoon soup at a small shop.

Back to hotel room then to the hotel's bar at 9pm for a drink. The bar was still very empty until we left at about 10:30pm.

Another hectic at work. Wanted to meet someone for lunch but had to cancel it cause I can't escape. Ended up skipping lunch.

Went to TPY to get salary and back home at 7pm.

Have tomorrow to escape from the stress and off to BKK with Ranga and KZ Leaving SG in 11 hours.

Not a good Year 2012 to start with. Fell sick and had to take 3 days MC. Didn't know gastric flu is that terrible to take.

Went to Nuffnang office to collect my prizes. A pair of GV tickets and a 2GB USB drive.

Down to Essence Studio to collect the family photo album then back home.

Instant noodles for dinner and continued with my HK drama 女人最痛.

Rendevous High Tea Buffet

Outdated post again. Thanks to flu, fever and gastric flu. Vomitted for a good 2 hours.

Met Ranga, KZ and Ama on Monday supposedly for high tea buffet at Hilton but don't know for what reason that they don't have it on that public holiday.

The 4 of us began to seek alternative plan and finally found high tea buffet at Hotel Rendevous.

Loitered at Ion Orchard and Coffee Bean to pass time and off for the long awaited buffet at 3:30pm.

The salmon sashimi was very, very fresh. I couldn't stop praising. What's Sakae Sushi man? There weren't too much choices but the cold seafood was not bad. Spent about $30/pax after 20% discount from DBS cards.

Off to Kinokuniya to browse books. Pretty unlike us, I guess. Spent more than an hour there.

Settled down at Wisma Atria Starbucks for a good cup of Peppermint Mocha.

We were thinking of taking a bus home but after Ama saw the queueless taxi stand and the much taxis waiting, she hurried into the first taxi. And so, the rest of us hopped into the next taxi for a comfortable ride home.

Mine wasn't that happy as I was down with flu and slept through the countdown.

First meal of the day: Caesar Salad

Had lunch with CJZ at Crystal Jade. Plain congee and char siew bun are enough to fill my stomach.

Went to ex-colleague's house to visit her family. Congratulations on her new-born.

Finally bought the flip flops which I was looking for. Thanks to KZ for helping me to keep a lookout.

Had dinner at Subway (yes, alone again). Cold cut trio and cream of cauliflower.

Knocked into WF at Jurong Point.

Home at 7pm.

Met someone yesterday at lunchtime. Had chicken rice (again) for lunch.

Back home after work and had dinner at BK with siblings. They should really switch back the bread for Spicy Tendercrisp. The taste would be much better than now.

Evening Gown Fitting

Woke up at 10am+ but still reluctant to wash up. Dragged till 2pm until we finally checked out.

Had late lunch at Ding Tai Fung Raffles City. Egg fried rice and xiao long bao.

Shopped around and only bought 100g of Taiwan mandarin peel at $2.

Took a bus home with SF and WF.

Home at 5pm. Lots of washing to do then dinner at Subway with CJZ.

Facial appointment and evening gown fitting tomorrow.

Supposedly to go for brazilian waxing at Strip Raffles City but my appointment got mixed up so had to cancel it. Ended up shopping for photo albums at Precious Thots and a hoodie from Aerospace. Really liked the $49.90 hoodie.

Met the ladies at 2pm and walked to Conrad Centennial. Here's our room looked like for paying $330/night. Spacious room and bathroom with a good view of the fountain.

A gift from the hotel

Dropped off our bags and off to late lunch/early dinner at Xing Wang. Ordered a spicy minced pork rice which wasn't spicy at all.

Walked to Suntec City Mall to get log cake, food and Heineken. It was a long walk if you were to take the linkway.

Back to hotel room to place our stuff. Played card games while waiting for YJ to arrive. While WF went to fetch YJ, the rest of us had to stay at the lobby while waiting for HM to hide her christmas presents to us.

We took lots of photos with different facial expressions, exercising our face muscles. Took photos with the christmas trees too.

Back to hotel room after half an hour to have supper. Thanks to YJ and her parents for the sumptous supper.

Cut the log cake into 6 big slices but half of it was wasted.

Time for christmas present exchange after shower. Played the 'Left and Right" game to know whose present we will be receiving. YJ got my present and I got WF's present. YJ gave each of us a L'occitane rose lip gloss, WF gave us Herseys chocolate and WX gave each of us a cookie. HM bought each of us a usb thumbdrive from HK which were the presents she hid in the room to make us find. Forgotten to mention that I was the loser, couldn't find my present and had to do a forfeit.

Continued with card games and drinking. WX's and YJ's faces were red most of the time. Had my forfeit by allowing them to draw on my face and 'dress' me up. Wait till you see the pictures but I have to say, they have been very lenient.

Nauseous Again

Went gym after work yesterday. Only had crackers and milo for dinner.

Met someone at late night or rather early morning.

Finally, the auntie at office is back. At least time flies faster this way.

Felt a little nauseous on the way home. Only had a 'ang ku kueh' before I took an hour nap to ease my discomfort.

Had dinner at Ramen Ten with CJZ.

Got to pack my bag for tomorrow's hotel stay at Conrad Centennial with the ladies.

Rainy Monday

The rain in the morning made me walked in dirty wet pumps. Totally disgusting.

Busy day at work today that I had hardly anytime to relax especially in the afternoon. Without auntie been around, I panicked.

Only had Chwee Kueh for lunch but good enough that I don't feel hungry at the end of the day.

Few more days to Christmas but yet to feel the festive mood.

Christmas Present for Myself

Went out with grandma, mum and aunt to Jurong West then to Clementi. Been busy on the phone all afternoon trying to find things out for CSX.

Had late lunch at food court then did light shopping.

Decided to buy the Carlo Rino tote from BHG. If not for the 20%, I wouldn't have bought it for myself as a Christmas present.

Train Disruption

Haven't been blogging lately as I have been busy.

Had a pretty long day thanks to the train disruption between Newton and Marina Bay.

Went to AMK to get office keys and documents for Monday at 12:15pm. Got stuck in the MRT shuttle for more than an hour to travel from AMK to Orchard.

Waited for another 20mins for bus 111 to get to my previous workplace and it was raining cats and dogs.

Finally reached Queenstown at 3:15pm and back to Clementi.

Played pool with CJZ and his friends. Had dinner at BK and finally back home to rest.

Eyeing on that $136 Carlo Rino tote. Shall make up my mind tomorrow.

Lunch at Bukit Merah Village Food Centre

Had lunch at Bukit Merah Village Food Centre. The $3.50 nasi padang with curry chicken, bittergourd and beansprouts was not bad.

Walked to Queensway Shopping Centre to run errands then back to office. For this time, I didn't have curry chicken.

Will be going gym after work tomorrow again. I am trying to lose that 2kg.

Leaving Home for the 4th Time

Went pool with CJZ yesterday afternoon. Played 5 rounds and won 3. He has improved a lot.

Back home then to Clementi Mall. Had soy bean and red bean pancake for late lunch.

Back home and went out again. Had to buy a handphone charger as the old charger's port was loose in less than a year. Not going to use Samsung after this phone. The Samsung store sells it at $38 but I only got it at $15 from a handphone store.

Forth time in a day I am leaving my house. Went to meet someone at Suntec and as expected, I went there and got a lift home.

Advance Christmas With Dare Association

Met Dare Association yesterday for buffet dinner and christmas exchange. Budget was $5 for the present so we had to crack our brains.

Bought a set of 6 glasses from Ikea and Nicholas got my present. I got Ranga's handmade present of brownies. Really thick chocolately taste. He got us each a notebook with wrote a personal message.

Walked to West Coast Plaza to buy beer and snacks.

Chilled at Nicholas's place to watch "Scream 4" but he fell asleep as expected. The movie got us bored and ended up gossiping from FB.

Home at 2:30am.

Time to Start Saving Money

Went gym after work yesterday. Have been trying to save money and eating really affordable food like $1.50 for a pack of vegetarian kway teow for lunch.

Bought Hersey's Cookies & Cream chocolate, a can of Heineken and L'oreal shampoo.

Cooked instant noodles for dinner, had my lager beer while watching "Gossip Girl" and off to sleep.

Can't wait for dinner buffet at Sakura today with Dare Association.

I Have Gained (Back My) Weight

Time has been flying really slow in December. I just wish it would be faster.

Went gym after work at 5pm. Has been like 2 weeks since I last had a workout. And indeed, I have gained back my weight to 48kg.

Had last minute dinner with Jac. Had chicken rice at Clementi Market then to Mos Burger for ice milk tea. Got some tempting Hersey's Cookies & Cream Chocolate from her.

Went for another bridal photoshoot at TPY yesterday. Here's what I got so far from the makeup artist Xavier.

I even had polaroid photos taken but forgotten to bring them back.

Photoshoot ended at 7pm and rushed to a survey. Easy money but I was feeling naseous. Didn't have time for lunch and dinner.

Had to call a cab home as I had difficulty flaging for a cab at 9pm and the taxi queue at TPY was long.

Bridal Photoshoot

Woke up at 6:30am to prepare to go out for bridal photoshoot. See, I still work on a weekend but this is something I enjoy doing so no grumble.

Had makeup and hairdo done at Viva Gown then to Mount Vernon Park for photoshoot. Started with a white bridal gown. The big green park will be closed soon for development. There were really big and green trees on the big grassland.

Went to Fort Canning with a blue evening gown. I have to say, the gown was stunning. Wait till you see the photos and you will fully understand. Changed to a yellow evening gown after much shooting. Hairdo was also changed. It began to rain soon after so had to shoot indoor instead.

First Days At Armourflex

Just started on my new job as office administrator yesterday at Amourflex. Have been adapting well and learning new things. Colleagues and boss have been helpful so I should count myself lucky.I am going to tell myself to stay on this job for a long time.

Weather has been changing and the rain is unpredictable. Will observe and see if the bridal shoot can proceed tomorrow.

Advance Christmas Presents

Today is officially the last day working for 2 bosses. Tomorrow will be a new start.

Had lunch with boss, both of us thought of the wanton mee at Redhill. It's really one of the best I had so I guess I would be going back to patronize.

Back home continue to work.

Participated in the Laurier contest and won myself Adidas goods. Was too excited that I went straight down to the outlet at Robinson 77 at 6pm upon receiving the letter.

Here's what I won: a bag, cap, water bottle and $50 Adidas voucher.

And I used the $50 voucher on the spot since I can enjoy 30% on all merchandise in the outlet. And here's what I bought: a dry fit tee and a cap for myself, a waist bag for someone. That shall be his christmas present. The stuff are way cheaper than what you see in normal outlets. For example, the cap only cost me $25 without 30% discount.

Home at 8pm after happy christmas shopping at Adidas. Thanks to Laurier for the christmas presents!

At Town with Mum

Stayed home to work from 9:30am to 3pm. Non-stop that I don't have time for lunch

Went to Essence Studio with mum to look at the fanily photos taken last week. Most of them are really well-taken just that it's pricey to get them printed in an album. At the very least, we still get a complimentary 5" x 7" capture. Will be going back in a month to collect it.

Walked to Taka Cedele for high tea. Ordered a slice of red velvet cake, raspberry and almond scone and blueberry and walnut muffin to share.

Strolled to Tangs to allow mum to look at the christmas lights then to ION Orchard.

Home at 8pm and instant noodles for dinner.

Had a photoshoot at Palawan Beach. It was ballet theme but I don't have ballet background so I really have difficulty with most poses. However, I still look forward to a few good pictures.

Had Subway for brunch, thanks to the photographer for the treat.

Met Jac to go Middle Road to get wrapping paper. She really spent a lot just on the paper.

Had desserts at Bugis Junction while deciding to go back Clementi or to hang around while waiting for someone.

Back to Clementi with Jac and headed home.

Reached home for less than half an hour and off to Expo.

Had a california handroll at Changi City Point then to meet someone. I did find myself dumb to go all the way to the far end of Singapore and still ended up being drove home right away.

Home at 10pm and had supper with CJZ at Mac.

Worked at a private party at MINDEF Bukit Gombak. Met 2 models, Michelle and Janet, to take a cab to the venue.

Simple job scope, to serve beer, mingle and to collect the used pints. Good money, I must say. I worked for only 4 hours and earned more than what I earned a day working 8 hours in an office.

Sang karaoke with 2 guys and a few of the models. Ya, I still earn money from singing karaoke enjoying myself. Sang "今天你要嫁給我" twice with 2 different guys. I was thinking, "我到底要嫁几次?"

Shared a cab with Janet and Zeris to Bukit Batok and took a train home.

Met KZ at Raffles Hotel for Dior Christmas Party at 11am. There were more 'tai-tais' and mature women at the event.

Got a goodie bag with trial size products.

Had refreshments while waiting for event to start.

Event started with a makeover demo followed by a runway. They were really tall and slim models. Had a talk by an image consultant. She presented really well and got us in action too. Below are some tips to share.

Finally it's shopping time. KZ and I got individual photos taken at the event. I looked really tanned from the photo especially if you were to compare me with KZ. I thought the placement of my fingers were too 'witch-y'.

Bought a Rouge lipstick, spending only $4 since I utilised the $40 voucher.

Had refreshments again while waiting for the lucky draw. There were a few ladies who won more than once. Sadly (I have to say), the Dior timepiece, which worth more than $3000, went into a older lady's hands.

Left the event at 2:30pm for MBS. It was raining so we just had to take a cab for convenience.

Bought the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack from That CD Shop. It came with a small poster.

Window-shopping and had ice-cream at Cold Rock while waiting for the rain to stop. We thought there was no sheltered way to get to LV so we waited. Felt like dummies when we exited LV to realise that it's connected to the LV in MBS.

Took a cab (again) to 313 Somerset for dinner. Wanted to have Marche but the queue was too long. Ended up at Ding Tai Feng.

Shared Xiao Long Bao and ordered egg fried rice for myself.

Chilled at Coffee Bean till 9:15pm with a small toffee cocoa.

Went for dental appointment, got my teeth checked and polished.

Back home then to facial.

Down to town for rest of the day. Had Mac for lunch outside Shaw Lido. It's scary to see the pigeons fighting for food. They flocked over your head to get to the table of leftover food.

Had full leg waxing done at Pink Parlour then back to Shaw Lido to catch "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1".

Much more intimacy compared to the previous movies. And the scene when Bella gave birth was bloody. I am on the lookout for the soundtrack.

Went to Clementi, had pork porridge with egg for dinner. Went to library to browse magazines. Knocked into SF at Clementi Mall.

Went pool with CJZ at WCRC. Had to use the VIP room as there' was an event.

Played 5 rounds in an hour and won all. Despite that, I know my skill didn't remain the same standard but got worsed.

Back home and spent the entire day watching HK drama.

Went for family photoshoot at Essence Studio. It was through the G2000 Style Icon when I heard of them.

It was a fun and never-had-before experience for the family. WIll be reviewing the photos on Tuesday.

Went to Happy Realm for dinner. It has been years since we went there together.

Went Vivocity with mum and CSX. Bought 2 tops from G2000, a sweater and a woollen blouse. I am their regular customer.

Rested at Secret Recipe and took a bus home. Kept dozing in the bus looking ugly.

Went to attend PURE Club Party at Vivocity Make Up Store. Had a simple makeover done using their Winter products. And of course, I bought cosmetics again.

For some reason, I can't rotate the photo. Here's what I bought, limited edition retractable powder brush, Silver Soil Eyeliner, Pink Dream Eyeliner, Myth Eyeshadow, Kiss Me On The Cheeks Blusher, Blotting Powder and Lip Plump.

Bought a pair of flip flops from M)phosis, $17.30. Enough of shopping, time for good food.

Headed to my favourite steamboat restaurant JPot. Ordered laksa bee hoon, yong tau foo combination, JPot Pork Ball, enoki mushroom and bak kut teh as soup base.

Bought my favourite seaweed from the Japanese and Korean fair by Cold Storage. Now I know Novena Square Cold Storage sell them too.

Home at 6pm. Did my mask and eye spa and got to turn in early tonight.

Window-shopping while Nicholas had to wait for his photos being developed.

Almost bought iPod Nano from NuBox but I still can't part with $208.

Shared 10 durian puffs from Durian Empire. Set on a bench outside Jean Yip watching people walked by.

Was working at home in the morning until someone texted me to meet him.

Dropped off some stuff at boss's office and went to meet someone. Surprisingly, he gave me bird's nest for no reason. Well, the sweetest bird's nest.

Back home to work until evening to meet KZ at town. Registered and paid to attend Dior's Gold Christmas party. Looking forward to it.

Had korean cuisine for dinner at FEP. The seafood fried rice was quite salty. I had to drink 2 glasses of cold korean tea.

Walked to Shaw Lido, bought my ticket to watch Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 on 24 Nov. I rather watch this movie alone, seriously.

Bought hot chocolate and sat at Shaw Lido's lobby area. Spotted numerous gay couples, heartbreaking it is for the ladies isn't it?

Met Jac at Starbucks Holland Village. Thanks to flu, I wasted half a cup of toffee nut latte and a bite of old fashioned glazed donut.

Went CJZ for dinner. The fish slice soup was too salty for me. Reminded me of the taste in the mouth when I am about to vomit.

Met someone in the afternoon before going for my second interview. I don't know what's with him about finding out what I put in that paper bag.

Took a cab to my future workplace (I already knew I would be offered the position) for a second interview. Will start work from 01 Dec.

Went to FEP Pink Parlour to have my nails done. Was watching "Salt" while been treated like a princess.

Had wanton mee for late lunch. Realised that Scotts Square just opened. Window-shopping then to Dempsey.

Had a double belgium waffle at Ben & Jerry. The Chunky Monkey ice-cream was not bad. Considered this as dinner.

Went for browgraphy and lashgraphy at BrowHaus Academy. My brows are now darker and can ignore drawing them for probably 2 weeks.

New Python-Skin Purse

From today till I found a new job, I will be most of the time working from home. One advantage is that I save on transportation.

Had lunch with boss at Dempsey Jumbo. The pumpkin soup was delicious. There were enoki mushroom, scallop and prawn in it. It may cost $10 a bowl but I feel it's worth it. Shared a plate of spinach beancurd (also with plenty of mushrooms) and a small plate of cod fish. Didn't know that we could get so full.

Worked at boss's place and she gave me a python-skin purse she got from Bali. I know it might be hair-standing to most people but I thought it's really unique. The texture is not rough or spikey at all, in fact it's really smooth. Can't describe how happy I was.

Left for home to continue working.

Real Steel

Rushed back to Shaw Lido to watch "Real Steel". I know I am very slow in following the latest movies. Had popcorn for lunch.

Back at Clementi at 5:30pm and bought a blue maxi dress, $35.90. I have been eyeing it for days.

Stayed home to watch HK drama and met someone at night.

Knocked off at 4pm and went back home.

Prepared and off to meet the ladies for dinner. Had cold cut trio at Subway Harbourfront.

Bought 2 chicken wings from Old Chang Kee as I was not full from the sandwich. Chilled and had our picnic at Vivocity Sky Garden. Watched the fireworks at USS at 9pm.

As it started to drizzle, we moved to MacDonald Harbourfront and knocked into Yoke Leng and gang.

Discussed our plans for Christmas and finally booked a 2D1N hotel stay at Link Hotel. Now we are all looking forward to Christmas eve.

Had a family dinner to celebrate grandmother's birthday at Mayim Chinese Cuisine which is in Westmall. Had a "Gui Fen Ji Mian" which is like steamed chicken with noodles. Only the chicken was tender but the noodles and the sauce tasted awful.

Home at 10pm.

Photoshoot at Hotel 81 Bencoolen tomorrow morning. Planning to go gym and to Bugis Village to get my slippers.

Me Doing Sales?

Went for my interview at 11am. It went off very smoothly and it was very comforting talking to the interviewer. He suggested that I should do sales since I could carry off myself well, does that mean being a real estate agent will work for me? Whether or not, I will wait for news to see if it's required to go for second interview. And meanwhile, I need to decide if this is what I want to do.

Ran errands again, had curry chicken at Queensway Shopping Centre and walked back office in the drizzle.

Did a demo video to teach people how to prepare for "The Flirt". It''s an alcoholic drink using rhum, lime and coffee. I tried to memorize the script in 30mins but failed. Will have to do it again tomorrow. Felt like I am in a cookshow. Worked till 7pm and back home for dinner.

Shall go for a jewellery casting tomorrow evening (hopefully I can make it) before meeting the ladies for dinner.

Used my lunchtime to go brazilian waxing at Holland Village and had Katong laksa for lunch. Felt really good to have something spicy on a raining day.

Back to work at 2:15pm and left for NUH at 6:30pm to visit grandfather.

Had an egg d'vine sandwich at Delifrance and home at 8:30pm.

Going for an interview tomorrow morning at Kewalram House. Shall have curry chicken at Queensway Shopping Centre for lunch.

Halloween Weekend At Langkawi - Part 2

Signed up for island hopping with KZ, together with many groups of people. There were middle easterns, malays, chinese and caucasians.

We took a speedboat going to 3 islands. Can't remember the names of 2 other islands.

Pregnant Maiden's Lake

Lots of monkeys so beware

We also watched eagle feeding. I thought we were allowed to feed them instead of just watching.

Went to the last island which allowed snorkling. I guess due to too much people, the fishes went into hiding. KZ could only see fishes at the jetty.

Left for The Cabin at 1:30pm. Took our shower and met Ranga for shopping at DFS. I bought souvenirs while the 2 of them bought chocolate too.

Had our massage done. I had my full body scrub done at RM69. I was impressed with the shower room. I had a tub of warm water with orchids to wash myself. Felt like a princess.

Had late lunch at The Breakfast Room. Ordered a meat pie and a pot of earl grey tea.

Walked to DFS again as KZ had more things to buy.

Back to The Cabin to rest till 9:30pm. Walked on the street looking for dinner. We had Lok Lok and it was enjoyable. Food was so much better than the seafood dinner we had. It was RM1 per stick. We had black pepper sauce or chilli sauce to taste.

We continued walking and settled for Ramly burger. It tasted so much better than McChicken. Just looked at the amount of mayonnesie used.

Had our stomach filled and walked to Babylon. It's similar to Timbre but more happening. We each have our own drink and a Blue Margarita each.

We were probably a little high and did a dare each. Ranga and I took a photo with strangers who dressed up for Halloween. I took a photo with a guy who dressed up like Edward Cullen. He would really looked more like him if he wasn't putting an evil expression. I know I kept looking back to see him. KZ then finished the leftover Blue Margarita as her dare.

We danced in front of the stage together with a group of guests. We felt hot but were truly enjoying ourselves.

Left for The Cabin at 1:30am and knocked out.

Woke up at 6:15am, had 2 slices of Oreo and off to the airport.

We had breakfast at Marrybrown then entered the gate. We had to sacrifice some of our liquid products due to the 100ml limit.

I was anxious as it was my first time taking a flight. My right ear experienced the 'spikes' during landing.

Landed in Singapore after an hour's flight. We shopped at DFS again. I bought a Gucci Guilty perfume at $129.

Had our lunch at Ruyi, a chinese restaurant. Ordered a set meal with fried rice. soup and mango pudding.

Went for ice-cream dessert at Earle Swensen's and chilled till 2:30pm.

Left for home by the train.

Halloween Weekend At Langkawi - Part 1

Set off with Ranga and KZ for a weekend getaway at Langkawi.

Took the coach from Five Stars Travel at 9:30pm and was watching "Twilight: New Moon". From time to time I was dozing off due to the plentiful conversations.

Watched "Eat Prey Love" afterwhich but my eyes couldn't hold any longer and I stopped the movie after 30mins.

Guess what? We only reached Penang at about 7:30am. Bumpy, cold and long bus ride.

Took a cab to the ferry terminal, had our breakfast and took a 2-hour ferry to Langkawi. We seriously had a better sleep.

Finally, we reached our destination at 11am. Had pastries and coffee at Starbucks.

Took a cab to The Cabin and unpacked our stuff in each of our rooms. We were really glad that we had our individual rooms to make our own chaos and own a balcony. The housekeeping had our pillow cases, bed sheets and towels changed everyday.

Took a nap till dinner time. Had a walk by the beach then to a restaurant. Enjoyed a glass of frozen strawberry margarita.

Just when I wanted to have dinner, my nausea came again. Had to forgo dinner and returned to The Cabin alone.

Turned in at 8pm and slept throughout the night really well.

Woke up at 9am. Had breakfast at The Breakfast Room across the street. The cafe was in British theme and Ranga started his British accent again.

Walked to DFS to take a cab to Oriental Village for a tour. Took a really good photo (at least I thought) along the way.

Didn't have to queue long for our cable car ride tickets but queued really long to get into the cable car.

The cable car ride was exciting with the height and scenary. We climbed to one of the highest peaks with great energy. The weather was very cooling and the scenary was spectacular. The sky and the sea looked like they were joined together. The sea was really infinite. The world is really huge and I have more to explore.

Walked down to a long bridge which was quite scary. All that's below was a forest.

Took the cable car ride back to Oriental Village after enough photo-taking.

Both my travel mates got excited spotting a lake of fishes and a few ducks. Especially KZ, she was fascinated by the ducks. They even bought packs of fish food to feed them. Whereas for me, I was busy taking photos of them and the surroundings.

Walked over to Berjaya Resort for their beach. We were sweating like crazy.

Time for us to have a good lunch. We took a shuttle back to Oriental Village for Japanese food. There wasn't much choices so we had to makedo with it.

After got ourselves full, we bought carrot slices to feed the rabbits. I fed the roosters carrot slices too, no one was even looking at them.

Took a cab back to The Cabin, wash up and went for non-halal seafood dinner. The food was blant like they ran out of salt. Only the bamboo chicken was a good dish. So if you are looking for seafood in Langkawi, please try another restaurant other than the one below.

Back to The Cabin, had my shower and off to sleep. Was supposed to go drinking with Ranga and KZ at midnight but I woke up late and was too tired.

Hand Spa at Pink Parlour

Went for manicure and pedicure at Pink Parlour FEP. The therapist did a very well job in removing my cuticles. Considering on signing a package with them and trying their brazilian waxing.

Rushed to Paya Lebar and was supposed to do a photoshoot but cancelled. Wasted my time on travelling.

Took a bus wanting to go home but G called when I was at town.

Picked me up and sent me home.

Had dinner at Ya Kun with mum. Shopped at NTUC and back home.

Very excited for the Langkawi trip I am going with KZ and Ranga. Leaving tomorrow night, back on Monday. Happy Halloween in advance!

Lexi Lyla Fashion Show

Finally, it was the Pink Parlour Be Free Party at Zouk yesterday. It was co-organized with Singapore Cancer Society, Lexi Lyla, Sharon Tang, Xquisis and many other companies.

Reached Zouk at 3pm, I was the latest and rehearsal for the fashion show have yet to began.

Had my makeup done partially, ate a slice of hawaiian pizza and had the rehearsal.

It was 6pm when rehearsal ended. Had my hair done by Hair Essensuals and makeup completed.

Brown eyeshadow and gold glitter

The programme started at 7pm with the swimwear show with male and female models. There were only screams from the crowd when the male models were on the stage.

Finally it was the fashion show by Lexi Lyla. There were 6 models including myself. We had 4 sets of outfit matching with accessories, bags and heels. I had no time to snap photos of myself so could only wait for the photos from the photographers.

Right after the fashion show ended, all of us were so relieved that we made quite a bit of noise backstage. Appreciate all the hard work everyone has put in to make this a success. And of course, have to thank Lexi Lyla for the outfits.

And talking about the heels, I did take pictures of 2 pairs of heels which I wore. They were sponsored by Xquisis. I took home a pair and bought the other pair. The prices were affordable and best of all, comfortable. I didn't get blisters although I was wearing them for runway. I will be sure to shop from them again since the prices were more affordable than Charles & Keith and the quality is good.

Day In with Female Boss

Spent my work day today with female boss.

Helped with the paper work and little things. There's really a lot of follow-up to do as a real estate agent.

We went out for lunch at Bras Basah, had Small Wok Noodle and starfruit juice.

Did stationery shopping, bought a $17 organizer for next year. Hopefully it will be of good use.

Back to female boss's place to continue with work at 3pm.

Had a slice of Polar cream roll for high tea in the middle of work.

Home at 7pm.

Off to meet KZ and Ranga to discuss our next weekend trip.

4-Hour Rehearsal

Went for rehearsal for Saturday's event yesterday.

Did the fitting again since there was a change in the outfits. Learnt simple catwalk (not so simple actually) and the steps for each outfit. Had a hard time memorizing and I was the only one noting down the steps. One more day till the event.

Left at 11pm plus, imagine almost 4 hours of walking with really high heels.

BKK trip is postponed and looking forward to an impromptu trip next weekend.

Fitting for Lexi Lyla

As soon as I got home, received news that I am selected. Will be working for the event held by Singapore Cancer Society at Zouk on 22nd Oct from 7pm.

Afternoon At Swensens

She had lunch while I had banana split at Swensens. Not enough to munch, she ordered ice-cream and I ordered fried mushrooms.

Chilled for about 4 hours at Swensens and went separate ways.

Met CJZ for dinner at KFC. Wasted quite a lot of food. Seriously, their food doesn't taste like before.

Someone has been greeting me with a SMS everyday for 6 days. I was expecting him to give up after a week. I am still waiting to see when his patience will run out.

Met the ladies for dinner yesterday. Happened to get on the same bus as WF to get to Vivocity.

Ate at Kim Gary, restaurant was freezing. In fact, I think the entire shopping mall was freezing. Ordered the usual chicken shop baked rice set and had leftover rice.

Got bottled water from Cold Storage and met HM.

All of us chilled at the skypark till almost midnight. Had a good talk about relationship woes.

Saved money and took a bus home.

Another work week just started.

Glad that work has been easier to handle.

Went to get lunch with boss. $3 Char siew rice.

Made 2 drinks with boss at tea time. Your tea time is my alcohol time. I am sort of learning bartending. Can be fun but lots of things to wash at the end of the day. If I am going to do this everyday, sooner or later I will be an alcoholic.

Received my new handphone leather casing. If you see carefully, there are repeated black cats on the exterior. The orange sides are easy for me to locate my handphone in my deep black bag. Stayed home for the entire afternoon watching HK drama and "Monte Carlo". Also at the same time, ignoring someone's calls and sms-es for 6 good hours. Just me playing hide and seek again.

Left for Somerset at 6pm. Was still early so I went to 313 Somerset G2000. Bought 2 shirts, black polka dots and simple white. Cost me $78.

Walked over to Cuppage Plaza to meet SF, HM and Ramon for KTV at Cash Studio.

To our biggest surprise, Ramon can sing mandarin songs mostly by Wang Lee-Hom. He can actually read the words, we know it's not by memory as he could read lyrics in other songs. I am still amazed by him.

I left the group earlier at 11pm.

Someone came to pick me up and to my surprise, he confessed that he did see my text messages 4 months ago at lunch. Totally weird as I didn't raise that topic and he claimed that he didn't check my messages that time. I was 'forced' to obey him by never to contact G. If he's going serious, then it might be all worth it.

Quite a fruitful Sunday I had.

Had a morning sports theme photoshoot at Fort Canning. Expectedly, I fed mosquitoes a few times.

And since I was already in sports attire, I went to gym for another round of sweat.

Kind of wasted my effort, I had Popeye's for lunch. I think their standard kind of dropped.

Walked over to PS, bought the stuff I need when my "big auntie" arrives.

Took a bus to Clementi, shopped at Clementi Mall. Borrowed a book "Lauren Luke Looks" from Clementi Public Library. Bought 2 boxes of FreshKon Dezigner Pink Solitaire cosmetic lenses. Comes with a free mirror.

Impromptu, met Jac for coffee at Starbucks. Window-shopped in Clementi till 5pm.

I have increased my font size for my blog posts. Now that it's so much easier for you to read.

$20 Foot Reflexology

Today was quite a relaxing day.

Had crispy egg noodles for lunch. Went for a $20 40-min foot reflexology at Dawson Place. Where to find such cheap massage right? The uncle taught me quite a bit of stuff about foot massage too.

Back home at 5pm. Had Mac for dinner with CJZ.

Still eyeing on the $228 iPod Nano. To buy or not to buy?

Some amateur photographers are just assholes. If you know you can't make it, can't you just let me know rather than tell me when I asked to confirm AGAIN 12 hours before? If you just aren't good in photography, I know just why.

New Haircut

Walked to Queensway Shopping Centre after work. Had curry chicken with rice, lime juice and cup corn. The bowl of curry chicken only gets smaller and smaller.

Had a haircut at EC House. Now I have bangs and shorter hair. Hopefully my hairfall is under control.

Received the anchorage maxi dress I bought from LexiLyla. It was nicely wrapped and labelled.

Made a trip to Challenger and Best Denki hoping to find a reasonably-priced media player. Considering on a cheap iPod Shuffle or a newer iPod Nano.

Event Hostess

Went to work at "Where Banknote Meets Art Decor" as hostess yesterday evening.

The group of us met at MBS Convention Hall, had a briefing then got changed. Eagerly waiting for the group photos. Was doing registration then ushering. The halls all looked the same and I know I would get lost if I was alone.

Left for Parkview Sqaure at 8pm. Grabbed the time to take a photo in the coach. Looked like air stewardess isn't it?

Kept standing as usher in the tent. Finally got a chance to have a little for dinner. I have to say, the seafood was very fresh especially the shrimps. Ate a little of octopus, smoked salmon, shrimps and a scallop. Really good food.

Event extended till about 2:30am. Imagine how much our feet hurt from the 8-hour standing with heels. It was a good experience to work in big events with the models.

Changed back into our clothes and took a cab home. My eyes could hardly open anymore.

G2000 Style Icon

Went to attend the G2000 Style Icon at Ion Orchard Event Hall yesterday.

Arrived at 10:30am for the fitting then waited for the group briefing to start. Spent quite an amount of time waiting.

Had lunch with Janice, one of the contestants from another group, at The Soup Spoon.

Did a rehearsal and finally the programme began when the emcee Sarah arrived.

We went up the stage with our normal office day look first with Sarah introducing each of us. Finally, we went separate ways according to our allocated group. My group stayed for a Q&A session on stage then to The Scene at Wisma for our hairdo and makeup.

I was the last contestant to get fully prepared. Had to run back to Ion Orchard bare-footed after I got off the lift at B4. How happening it was for me, wasn't it?

Quickly got changed in the fitting room, had my makeup re-touched and rushed backstage. Of course the photo below was taken after the event ended. Still waiting for the pictures from the professional shoot and the group photo taken on stage. Will need to accumulate votes on FaceBook to win.

The event ended at about 4pm. Queued to have my professional photos taken. Was chatting with this 36-year old guy queuing in front of me. Cute guy and totally doesn't look his age.

Went back to the fitting room to change back. And who knows? I picked up some clothes and went back to the fitting room to try. Bought a pair of pants, a knitted blouse and a trench coat. Love the trench coat which cost me freaking $169. Luckily I have the $100 voucher to use.

The day was still young. Bought $15 Royce Champagne Chocolate and off to meet the ladies for 7-course dinner at Tao's Kitchen.

The food was not bad and surprisingly we were quite filling although the portions were small. Forgot to take a picture of the iced grape mallow juice.

My life's turning point is here.

Went to the gynae yesterday and got bad news. Tried very hard to be strong but still had to break down in the clinic. Had to thank mum for insisting to accompany me.

Mood is going to be badly affected for the next few days, at least. I don't know how I would survive the G2000 Style Icon tomorrow.

For my own good, I need to get out and clear my mind of emotional stress. I would probably take a long break or at least not a mind-taxing temporary job.

First Luggage

Went for my facial yesterday then to IMM with mum to buy a luggage for my BKK trip next month. Spent $91 on an "American Tourister" luggage and $25 on a TSA lock.

Had a peanut butter toast set at the HK restaurant but tasted awful.

Took a cab home, prepared and off to an event briefing.

Home at 8pm with a tired mind.

Samba Photoshoot

Went for a samba costume photoshoot in the morning at Studio Hub. Big studio and the photographers were fun people. Looking forward to the pictures.

Went to gym at Paragon since I don't have time to go tomorrow.

Took a bus to Mount Faber Safra to meet KZ for karaoke. Long time since I sang my heart out.

Sang till 7pm and had dinner at Porn's. Can't finish the big bowl of green curry with chicken.

Took a cab to Vivocity for a drink at Coffee Bean. Chilled till 10pm.

Waited for a cab at Harbourfront for about an hour to get home.

Had lunch with bosses yesterday at Commonwealth Food Centre. The $4 seafood crispy egg noodle was one of the best I had. It was really crispy.

As for today's lunch, was pathetic. Only had a hotdog bun and a lor mai kai. Only had 2 slices of cream roll for dinner now. My boss said I lost weight, indeed I had because I haven't been eating regularly like I used to. Probably have been overworked too.

Was supposed to go for my dermatologist appointment this morning but decided not to. Why waste my money when I know the medication doesn't work on me? If my hair fall is serious, then I am just prepared to go bald.

Looking forward to Saturday morning to try the samba costume for a photoshoot.

2 Photohoots in a Day

Woke up at 8am to preapre for a guitar photoshoot.

It was more of a gothic theme so I had to put thick black eyeliner. I don't know if it should turn out like below when I closed my eyes when I opened, I thought I looked fine.

Photoshoot ended at noon and went to Marina Square for lunch. Ate set lunch at Pizza Hut which cost me $11.65. Had a cup of green tea latte to pass time.

Walked at Citylink Mall and went into Mintmark. With every purchase of silver jewellery or handbag, you can purchase a limited edition car model at $48. It was really cool. I didn't decide to buy on the spot so I went for my second photoshoot first.

Met the photographer at Outram Park and went to Studio M. The hotel has very nice concept like a duplex studio. The room was very small but a different experience compared to normal hotels. Forgot to take photos of the room.

Photoshoot ended in an hour and I left for Citylink Mall again. Bought another silver ring and the car model from Mintmark. Colour is like Ferrai Red. The car front, boot and doors can be opened. The cutest thing? The wheels will turn when you turn the steering wheel.

Rushed to Jurong Point to meet an ex-colleague for dinner. Has been quite sometime since I met her but glad to know that everything's well. Ate at Thai Express. Had green curry with chicken and a cup of lime juice.

Shared 2 maple syrup belgian waffles which surprisingly, tasted good. Cost $1.90 per set which comes with 2 waffles.

Window-shopped and was looking for a good luggage. Spotted one from Hush Puppies at about $79. Shall think about it for next 2 days and make a decision.

Horlicks McFlurry

Had dinner with Jac at The Central after knock off at 8:15pm yesterday.

Back home to shower and met KZ and LL at Mac. Wanted to eat the Horlicks McFlurry but out of stock.

Chilled till almost midnight and back home.

18 September

Went gym at Paragon in the afternoon. Had a cup of soy bean milk (that's lunch) and took a bus home.

Got down at Gleneagles and got a lift home by someone. I shall wait and see if it's true that he really bought something for me at HK.

Home at 4pm. Had a cup of detox tea with lots of sugar to reduce sour. Got to continue with my HK drama while enjoying a Horlicks McFlurry.

2 photoshoots tomorrow. It's going to be another tiring day.

Many of us probably have not heard of her (at least I don't) but she's definitely worth all of us to look up to.

Andrea Claire is a freelance celebrity hairstylist and makeup artist. And yes, having a freelance job is not easy as you will be constantly on the lookout for assignments, competing with other capable people. Therefore, she must have been working real hard to achieve what she has own today. She was a single parent, raising her 3 girls and now has remarried. She could do all these by her independence and positive mindset. Now that she has found happiness, it's now all worthwhile.

After we have gained independence, Singapore have came a long way to be who we are today. We have progressed so much. Not just growing in size from land reclamation, we are the world's top five busiest port. We have to thank our ancestors who built today's Singapore and it's now our turn to make Singapore an even better place for our children to live in.

Quays & Tell

This is the first week when I am will be working at Riverside Point from 6pm till late on Thursdays - Saturdays. Not sure if I should stay till 11pm like yesterday.

The location is at former Wine Garage, adjacent to Brewerkz. Bar is named "Quays & Tell". It's quite cool to have a bar like this with river view.

We have created a new menu of drinks namely like The Wink, Cuban Manhattan and Dam-Sel. Just too bad that we couldn't have food.

Chalet Girl

Rushed to Ion Orchard after work yesterday. Bought the new La Senza Prestige VIP Card at $29. Used this card to buy the set of nightwear which I was eyeing 2 days ago, 2 nail polishes and a lip gloss.

Watched "Chalet Girl" with KZ at Shaw Lido. Got a tote bag with the first issue of Cosmoplitan Singapore, Origins facial voucher and a notebook. Finished a regular-sized popcorn by myself. Ed Westrick is not bad-looking based on his cool image.

Walked to FEP for dinner. Chee chiong fun with prawn at $3.50.

Home at 11pm.

Lingerie Shopping

Put on the grey-coloured contacts lenses, Harley Davidson top and Levis jeans and I am ready to go.

Met KZ and WF at FEP for lunch. $3.50 wanton mee and done.

Walked to Tangs for lingerie shopping. Saw a set of turqoise lingerie from Versailles at 60% off. Cost about $85 which was totally worth it but still hesitating.

Walked to Ion Orchard and continue with lingerie shopping at La Senza. Saw a set of nightwear at $95. Still considering if it's worth it after the discount.

High tea at TCC with a cup of Mocha Villa. Thanks to WF for the treat.

Walked over to Shaw Lido for WF to buy movie tickets. KZ and I also bought tickets to Chalet Girl for Tuesday. It's a girls-only sneak preview. There will be a goodie bag for all attendees and a chance to win a watch with Swaroski crystals. Praying hard my luck is back.

Dinner at Paragon Ding Tai Fung. Fried rice with egg and XLB.

Home at 11pm.

Travelling = Tiring

Today was really a tough day.

Went to workplace for an hour, took a cab to Boon Keng to handle the shipment. And who knows that it was delayed? In order to save time, I took a bus to Bugis Junction for a delivery and walked to Funan with a McFlurry to collect namecards. Walked back to Bugis Junction to take a bus back to Boon Keng. Had to stay in the light drizzle to check the shipment before storage. Took a cab back to workplace and had to 'entertain' the cab driver.

It was already 3:30pm when I was back at workplace. Only get to enjoy a small glass of ginger ale which was imported.

Rushed to get the paperwork done and finish my other boss's work.

In conclusion, travelling = tiring.

Watching "Horrible Bosses", lots of rough language but not bad for a laugh.

Forty Hands

Had lunch with bosses at Tiong Bahru at a cafe named Forty Hands. It was packed with people at lunchtime.

Ordered a truffle mushroom sandwich and iced chocolate. $9 for the sandwich and $6.50 for the drink. The sandwich is big enough for me to split it into 2 meals. A good try for a vegetarian.

Back to reality. Back to work.

Went to Bugis Junction Soyato today with boss. Sampled the coffee with rhum ice-cream. Rich flavour for coffee lovers.

Stayed home watching "Planet of the Apes" yesterday. Only stayed at home slacking all Saturday.

Went for full body massage and body scrub at Monz today. Then went to gym at One Raffles Quay. Only spent half an hour for a workout and rushed home.

Was supposed to go for my facial but had it postponed.

Met G at town and went to H&M without queuing. Thanks to his trick, we didn't have to join the long queue. Seriously, nothing in the shop caught my attention although the apparels were cheap. Prices were comparable to Cotton On. According to my observation, only the young girls were their customers.

Back home at 7:30pm for dinner.

Food Traveller

Met KZ and Ranga yesterday for late dinner and supper. Collected our BKK tickets and travel voucher at Harbourfront, waited for a very long time for the travel insurance.

Took the train to Farrer Park and then a cab to Balestier for Founder's Bak Kut Teh. Woohoo...

Not enough for a full stomach? We took 2 buses to get to Holland Village for Haagen-Dazs ice-cream at midnight. Even the floor manager recongnized us from the fondue order 2 weeks ago. Ordered our own selection.

Shared a cab home with our filled happiness.

Detox Tea

Made a pot of detox tea last night. Kind of regret buying it as it tasted really sour. I had to add sugar to it to make it drinkable.

Was staying at home for yesterday. So unlike me to stay at home for a public holiday.

Kept myself busy by watching "Friends with Benefits" starring Emma Stone and Justin Timberlake. Now I am watching "Bad Teacher" starring Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake (again).

Had chicken rice for dinner at market. No choice, I am going broke again. To make myself feel better, I will say it's a chance to keep myself in shape.

I Know What Is A Scallop

Went gym yesterday afternoon. Suffering from muscle ache today.

Met HM, SF and Jac for dinner at JP Ajisen. Ordered a seafood ramen set but there were no scallops. Of course, I will check with the staff. The best part? One of the waiters told me the crab meat is scallop. Hello? This is not the first time I ordered seafood ramen and definitely not like I have not seen a scallop before. My goodness! Turns out that the chef missed out on my 2 scallops.

Chilled with HM and SF at Starbucks while Jac went off. Had a good chat sitting at the outdoor area till 11:30pm.

Sunday At Bukit Indah

Went Bukit Indah with KZ and Ranga today.

Took CW3 and reached in an hour, considered fast.

Booked our massage appointments and had Japanese lunch.

Shopped around while waiting for time to pass. Bought an eyeliner brush from Etude House.

Had our massage done at Thai Odessey. Cost me RM 88 for an hour's full body massage. Almost dozed off.

Chilled at Starbucks with a cup of Mocha Praline.

Had dinner at Tang Shifu. Nurtitious ginseng soup. Shared a pot of Autumn tea leaves with pearl powder and we ended up buying the tea bags. 6 in a pack which cost us RM 12.

Left for home at 9pm.

Makeup Manual

Woke up at 6am today. Yes, especially early because I had to get prepared for the SIA interview at Suntec.

I was queue number 306 when I reached at 8:35am. It's that scary. As expected (at least what I expected), I didn't get in. Failed at the first round as I didn't perform well. It's actually a relief that I didn't get in so I don't have to type another resignation letter. I won't go for the next interview to waste my time. In fact, I will just concentrate on my current job.

Back home and had lunch at Ya Kun with mum. Spent about 2 hours at Popular bookstore and bought a makeup manual. Cost me about $26. There was a pouch in it too.

Met Jaclyn and lady boss for dinner. Had thai food at The Rail Mall. Food was reasonably priced and not bad. We also shared a Devil's Chocolate with Raspberry Cake and a Sticky Rice with Mango as desserts.

Left workplace only at 7pm yesterday. Rushed to Tanjong Pagar and only had a hotdog bun for dinner.

Met someone at late night and had a difficult time falling asleep. I must have been nervous about the SIA cabin crew interview for the next day.

Went for my monthly facial in the afternoon. Had a pure gold facial which gave me fairer skin. It will be a fortnightly thing from next month.

Had my brazilian waxing done at Strip Dempsey. It's strawberry wax this time.

Had a stick of pork with asparagus and a cup of warm soy bean milk for lunch and headed to gym for a good sweat.

Bought a pack of $15 caramelcrisp with macademia popcorn from Garrett Wisma Atria. This is going to be my lunch for the next 2 days at least.

Met KZ for dinner at Crystal Jade Holland Village. Finally had the wanton noodles I was craving for.

Chilled at Wala for a drink and waited for Ranga. Ordered a Sangria and shared chicken wings which tasted really good. Ordered a bottle of Heineken and shared Porkeys before the Happy Hour ended. Porkeys was good and juicy even without their homemade mustard.

Not enough of food. We had desserts at Haagen-Dazs. Shared a $42 fondue. That really got me excited. Dipped the small scoop of ice-cream into the plate of almond flakes and coat it with the melted warm chocolate. Life was good.

Shared a cab home at 11pm.

Crazy Work Week
