Sunday Peach x M.A.C.

I attended an event hosted by Sunday Peach and M.A.C. last Saturday at Ion Orchard.

Of course, I had to buy cosmetics to satisfy myself. Here's what I bought.

M.A.C. Prep + Prime
I realised the importance of using a lip primer when I want to use a matt lipstick. It is similar to a lip balm just that it feels more velvety and less oily. It reduces the appearance of fine lines on the lips and makes the lipstick last longer.

I have been using glossy lipsticks and decided to try matt lipstick since it is the craze nowadays.

I wanted a shade that is more nude but I still ended up picking peach. I am that afraid of looking pale.
I merely had the lipstick on for about 2 hours, no peeling or cracking of lips which means it works for me. Perhaps I can invest in other colours too.

You Know You Want It

If you are a makeup user, I am sure you have heard of the brand Bioderma which is famous for their micellar water for makeup removal.

Thanks to SampleStore, I am lucky to get to try their Sensibio range for sensitive skin. I have relatively dry skin and suffer from redness at the cheek area. I am excited to see how effectively it works.

Let's find out more about the Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water and see how it fares.

Bioderma Sensibio H20 is formulated with highly purified water, this is the highest grade of pharmaceutical water that is completely free of impurities and irritants, making it a clear choice for sensitive skin.

It is also soap-, alcohol- and fragrance-free. When I am lazy to clean my face, I will just use Bioderma Sensibio H20 and cotton pad since no rinsing is required.

This is my face with makeup. My foundation was medium-high coverage and my eye makeup was light.

I managed to remove half of my face and eye makeup using 1.5 cotton pads easily without much force.

Here is half of my bare face and the other still with makeup.

Super impressed with its efficacy. I only had to use 3 cotton pads to remove my makeup.

Best of all, I had totally no discomfort from removing my eye makeup. No pain, redness or stinging. Such a breeze and there is no rinsing with water required. No stickiness or tightness after makeup removal too. Now I could understand what the craze was about.

And if you do wonder how my full bare face is, here it is.

Prices of Bioderma Sensibio H20: $15.90 for 100ml, $28.90 for 250ml and $41.90 for 500ml

Next up is the Bioderma Sensibio Gel Moussant which is a gentle facial cleanser which also hydrates and soothes sensitive skin. You can use this day and night, even on eye areas.

So how do I use it?

Just 1-2 pumps and apply it on damp face in circular motion. Foam will develop as you cleanse.

After which, just rinse with water and you are done.

Price of Bioderma Sensibio Gel Moussant: $33.90 for 200ml

Last but not least, it's the Bioderma Sensibio Dermatological Water.

It soothes skin while maintaining healthy skin cells. It contains soothing agents that can provide quick and lasting relief to sensitive skin.

You can use it to freshen your face or remove balance of mask left behind on face. I like to use it to freshen my makeup and I do not need to pat my skin dry.

Price of Bioderma Sensibio Dermatological Water: $19.90 for 150ml

So where can I buy the Bioderma Sensibio products? You can buy it at Watsons, Guardian, Unity, Robinsons, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and National Skin Centre.
