Shiseido Ultimune Party with Fann Wong

If you have been following Shiseido's Facebook page, I am sure you know that Fann Wong has became their ambassador for Shiseido Ultimune and they have held an event at Tangs Orchard.

I got to say that most of us were there because we knew that Fann Wong was going to be there. Of course, there were attractive promotions, lucky draw and triple points for Shiseido members.

Ok, I am not the lead but Shiseido Ultimune is.

Shiseido Ultimune comes in 3 sizes of which the biggest is 75ml. This is of course more worth it compared to the smaller sizes.

Desiree Lai was the emcee for the event and Erica was the beauty adviser to introduce the product to us.

There was a dance performance by the dancers from NUS Dance Club if I didn't recall wrongly.

The hour-long wait for Fann Wong was worth it. Everyone was cheering and preparing to take photos and videos of her. Just look at the number of people crowding around her other than the guards.

Fann Wong shared about what she likes about Shiseido Ultimune and also bits and pieces of her life after having Zed.

The 80 customers who purchased Shiseido Ultimune had the chance of taking a photograph with Fann Wong and also a skin check done by her. And yes, I am one of the lucky ones.

Credits to Tangs for the photo taken during the skin check

Look at the amount of stuff I had when I left the event.

I bought the Ultimune Set which consists of 50ml Ultimune, UV Sun Protector and the White Lucent Travel Set. There was an instant lucky draw  when you spend at least $100 and I got a set of deluxe Shiseido Ibuki Travel kit consisting of the gentle cleanser and softener.

The door gift consists of the UV Sun Protector and White Lucent Facial Cleanser, Emulsion and the travel size Ultimune.

The most unique item got to be the Ultimune Aromatic Essence which can be rolled onto the neck areas to relieve stress. This is not for sale in Singapore.

I am glad to have attended the event and bought home lots of Shiseido products for future skincare.

Review: The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask

The Body Shop has came out with a new series of face masks for different skin types and I redeemed a sample on their Facebook page recently.

My skin is on the drier side thus the staff recommended me to try the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask.

The sample sachet of 5ml is more than enough for me.

Application is easy and you only need to use apply the face for 5-10 mins. I may look like I got a sun burnt but that's actually the colour of the mask.

Let's see the before and after.

I couldn't spot any visible differences from the pictures.I do feel that skin is smoother and pores on the cheek areas are less visible.

Would I buy it? I will consider since they are selling 2 for $49.90 now.

Where to Find Part-Time or Freelance Jobs?

Recently I have been asked about how I managed to find part time and freelance jobs. Just sharing some tips here.

1) Facebook Group

I frequent this public group to hunt for jobs. I must say that there is the best thread so far. The only bad thing is that the posts are not in chronological order so I can spend a long time scrolling down.

You can find jobs like service crew, packers, flyer distributor, event assistant and promoter.

2) Gumtree

Unless I am still lost, I will be visiting Gumtree for more opportunities. They have updates almost every minute but I see plenty of repeated postings. This will be time-consuming and strain on the eyes.
