Review: Palmer's White & Even

Do you have pigmentation problems like freckles and uneven skin tone like I do? If you do, please watch the video below and read on for me to introduce Palmer's White & Even Dark Spot Corrector.

Palmer's White & Even range contains ingredients which are potent yet gentle to reduce hyper-pigmentation. Palmer's came out with the Whitening & Tone Enhancing Complex which is made of:

1) Cocoa Butter    - smooths marks and scars
2) Soy                   - restores luminosity
3) Synovea           - lightens age spots
4) Vitamin C          - brightens skin
5) Licorice extract - improves skin tone and texture
6) Niacinamide      - targets unwanted discolouration

It has been found that daily usage of the Palmer's White & Even range will lighten the surface skin cells and produce more even skin tone within 3-5 days. The deeper skin layers will be inhibited to over-produce melanin. As skin cells rise to the surface, you will have a more even skin tone within 4-6 weeks. Do note that all these are subjected to age, health and sun exposure.

The products does not contain parabens, harsh dyes and fragrances just to name a few. Best of all, it is suitable for all skin types and pocket-friendly.

Enough of words, let's take a look at the product itself.

The texture isn't too thick for a serum and it looks like there is glitter in it.There is a cooling sensation upon application which is good for Singapore's weather.

It gets absorbed fast and leaves no stickiness. Skin feels slightly more moisturized and smooth.

There is also noticable glitter which I have yet to find out why.

Time to try it on my face now.

I didn't see any significant difference after the first try. I didn't feel the cooling sensation on my face like I did on my hand but I did see the 'glitter' on my face.

Maybe the results will really only be significant after daily usage for at least 3-5 days.

The second product I tried was the Dark Circle Correcting Eye Treatment.

It comes with a safety plastic cap in case the product gets accidentally squeezed an leaked.

A closer look at the nozzle.

Usage of this product is easy. Squeeze out a little of the product on the metal nozzle and glide it gently onto your upper and lower eyelid. This is like an eye massage and it does feel good especially if the metal nozzle is cold.

Let's see the before and after.

Again, I didn't notice significant difference after first usage. I do feel slight tightness around the eye area which is a good thing if it can lift the eyelid area.I looked like I applied eye glitter due to the sheer luminizing brighteners in the product.

The Palmer's White & Even range can be found in Watons, Guardian, BHG, Robinsons, John Little, Essentials Pharmacy, Nishino Pharmacy, all leading pharmacies, departmental and cosmetics stores. The Dark Spot Corrector is $29.90 (30ml) and the Dark Circle Correcting Eye Treatment is $22.90 (15ml).
