I was spending the evening with my mum at Jo Malone's Floral Box Workshop held in Tangs's Seviin.
The event space needs no more decoration with the flowers and the scents.
My mum and I tried the featured colognes like Silk Blossom, Red Roses and Orange Blossom which can be layered to form another scent. That's the advantage of Jo Malone's colognes, you can layer up to 8 different scents and don't feel it's too much.
The event began with introduction of the flowers which we were going to use and how to condition them before floral arrangement. We were also given tips on how to keep them fresh for as long as possible.
Look at the stalks of spring blossom I can play with! My mood is also blooming with happiness.
There are also hydrangea, spring carnation (smaller than carnation) and another type of flower which I can't remember its name.
We put our creativity to the test but of course we had guidance from the wonderful staff from Wonderland. They do hold floral arrangement classes too!
Here's how my floral box looks like with a bottle of 100ml Silk Blossom Cologne (it's limited edition!). I should have added more flowers especially at the corners.
And here's my mum's which she explained that she wants the receiver to get a surprise so she covered the cologne with flowers.
Presenting our floral boxes together.
Done with the workshop and it's time for shopping.
We picked a 100ml bottle of Silk Blossom, a 100ml bottle of Red Roses (mum's favourite), 30ml of Peony & Blush Suede and 30ml of English Pear & Freesia.
The 100ml of Silk Blossom is priced at $204 as it's limited edition and the regular 100ml colognes are $194. The 30ml colognes are $97.
The colognes are made in England and their scents are unique in case you wonder why they are a little pricey. I am pretty sure Jo Malone will always be one of my favourite brands.
