Thanks to Phoa for yesterday's dinner at Buffet Town Raffles City.
There was a great selection and I have to say even some hotels aren't comparable. It was about $40 per pax for a weekday dinner (except Friday) so I would say it's worth trying. As for weekend dinner, it's close to $50 per pax.
Personally, I like the salmon sashimi, white fungus in chicken soup (really good) and the choose-your-own-ingredients pasta. You can choose from mushrooms, onions, olives, bacon bits to shrimps. Thumbs up for the spaghetti in cream sauce. I forgotten to take pictures but just by reading this post, I hope you are already drooling.
Presenting the Delicious White Fungus in Chicken Soup
As for desserts, there were waffles, crepes, ice-cream, ice kacang, mini cakes and chocolate fondue. I am already hungry while typing.
So if you are up for buffet, do consider Buffet Town. You might want to make a reservation to avoid the queue.
My dear friend Ranga has set up a food blog and yes, with lots of pictures. Do visit to support!
Valentine's Day may have been over but don't you feel the entire month of February is filled with love? So here I am to share about my iDeal romantic date.
He booked a table by a hotel's poolside and came to pick me up at my place. Just when I opened the car door, a bouquet of red roses was lying on my car seat. The first sweet surprise.
When we reached the poolside restaurant, I saw a Valentine's Day card on my plate. Only to know that he took the effort to make it and arranged for it to be placed on my plate. The second sweet surprise.
After dinner, we went to the hotel room for a night's stay. Of course, I was expecting the third sweet surprise which is the present. However, had to find the present this time. After a short search, I finally found it in the dressing table drawer. It was a pair of diamond earrings. I put it on immediately. Looking into the mirror, I see us smiling in happiness and I know I am fortunate to have him in my life.
It was a boring Valentine's Day for me. How about you?
Nothing much to do at work so I was K-ing in the office, of course at a softer volume.
Had dinner at home then met Jac at Clementi Mall. As expected, the mall is crowded so I really hate people 'gathering' in the middle of nowhere. These 3 young teenage girls stood right between 2 escalators so Jac and I said 'Excuse me' in a slightly louder volume since it's noisy. They replied, "That is so rude". I regret not telling them, "And your were so inconsiderate".
Slacked at Mos Burger CIty Vibe. It's usually this fastfood restaurant where we chatted.
